Funeral services will be held there Friday. Mrs. Blackstock was formerly Miss Lanta Smith of Avoca and her husband is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Blackstock, pioneer Jones county residents. Mr. and Mrs. Blackstock moved to California about 15 years ago. A daughter, Mrs. Jack Rowson and a son, Wayne Blackstock, survive The Stamford American 22 July 1938
