Bolles, 83, of Haskell, burned Tuesday, 6 October 1936, when he clothing caught while she was trying to extinguish a grass fire, died in Stamford Thursday, 8 October 1936. Funeral was held at Anson and she was buried beside the grave of her husband, who died in 1925. Mrs. Bolles was born in Waterloo, Alabama, and lived in Alabama for 38 years. She was married to A.J. Sego in 1879 and after his death she was married to Mr. Bolles in 1883. The family moved to Bell county, Texas, in 1891 and came to West Texas in 1906, settling in Anson. Mrs. Bolles had been living in Haskell for several years. Survivors: 2 sons - A.J. Sego and G.W. Sego; 2 daughters - Mrs. Jim Archer of Anson, Mrs. S.C. Bell of Hedley, 26 grand, 34 great.
