Kinney Funeral Home was notified. Funeral took place at 3:30 Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Stamford, and funearl procession formed and went to Anson, where burial was made in the Anson cemetery. Rev. Dick OÕBrien conducted the funeral services. Arthur Buster was a clerk for Bob Barrett, who was then Tax Collector of Jones County in Anson. He came to Stamford and went in the Stamford State Bank, where he was made a cashier and then accepted the business manager position at Stamford Sanitarium for a number of years, resigning a few months ago. He had lived in Jones county for 33 years, coming here from Bell County in 1905. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Rotary Club of Stamford. He served as secretary and president of Rotary. Deceased was born in Temple, TX, Sept. 16, 1886. Mr. Buster is survived by his wife, 2 daughters of the immediate family: Misses Dorothy and Margaret. One brother survives: J.C. Buster of Abilene. Two sisters: Mrs. S.S. Russell of Stamford and Mrs. C.B. Brockway of Yakima, WA. In early manhood, Arthur was an athlete. He was with the Lincoln, Nebraska team, Western Association for some time.
