Heald, who died at the family farm home a few miles southwest of Anson Thursday morning will be held from the First Methodist Church of Anson. The Rev. C.C. Armstrong, pastor of the First Methodist church will officiated. The Rev. L.A. Doyle, pastor of the First Baptist church will assist. Mrs. Heald was born Mary Elizabeth Jones, November 7, 1878. She married Charles Henry Heald October 14th, 1894. Four children were born to this union, the first born child died af age six months. Surviving: her husband, Charles Henry Heald; three children: C. Metz Heald of Rusk; Mrs. A.E. Slaughter of Mt. Vernon and J.G. Heald of Hawley; 3 grand; 2 sisters: Mrs. Ollie Olson of Mabank; Mrs. W.A. Wyche of Anson; 1 brother: Reeves Jons of Campo, CO. M/M Heald moved from Van Zandt county to Jones County in 1901, and except for two years have spent the last 38 years in Jones county at their farm home a few miles osuth and west of Anson. Mrs. Heald joined the Baptist church in her girlhood and was for many years a member of that church. In later life she was identified with the Primitive Baptist church. Mrs. Heald was known in Jones county for her work among farm women. She was a leader in womenÕs home demonstration club work in Jones county, having been one of the pioneer women in this movement. Her son, C. Metz Heald and her daughter, Velma Heald, now Mrs. A.E. Slaughter, were in the extension service as county farm and home demonstration agents in Taylor and Fisher counties before being transferred to other fields of service. She was a typical woman of the home taking the greatest delight Her greatest pleasure in life was to have her family and her friends about her in her home and to provide for them the finest in food and comfort and entertainment in true and neighborly fashion. Pallbearers: Bill Glazner, Wayne Hendrick, Burt Dean, Ellis Dean, Buck Dean and Erwin Westmoreland. Mrs. Bob Foster, niece, will play for the funeral. Interment will be in Mt. Hope cemetery under direction of Lawrence F.H.
