Edna Hollums LaMere was born in Anson, Texas on December 21, 1925. The daughter of William and Minnie Sprayber ry Hollums, she was one of eleven children. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 58 years, Harold "Mickey" LaMere, who died January 5, 2002. Together they owned and operated Chili John's, a family restaurant in Burbank, California, before retiring. Mrs. LaMere is survived by daughters, Linda (and Michael) Hansen of Mokelumne Hill, California, Christine (and Wayne) Logan of Glendale, California, Teresa LaMere of Dallas, Texas, and Deborah (and Jimmy) Ormand of Dallas, Texas. Also ar e surviving are her siblings, Ruth Hughes, Mary Strickland, Jack Hollums (all of Midland, Texas) and Katie Cannon (Gadsden, Alabama). She has seven loving grandchildren, all of whom will never forget her beauty, her wonderful meals, and love for gardening and sewing. Visitation and services will be at The Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd., Burbank, CA 91504. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2007, 5:00 p.m., followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary. Services will be Wednesday the 10th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O.
