Littlefield, 79, of Adamsville, Tennessee, who was a teacher of the Antelope school near Anson in 1891, was in Stamford visiting old friends he had known at Anson. He visited briefly with Col. R.L. Penick, J.C. Bryant, A.C. Johnson, and other friends. Mr. Johnson attended the Antelope school as a small boy when Mr. Littlefield was the teacher. This is the first time the former teacher has returned to West Texas. Mr. Littlefield and his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Bishop, and a nephew, John L. Littlefield are visiting W.H. Littlefield and Ed Littlefield at Anson. The Anson men are nephews of W.P. Littlefield are brothers of John L. Littlefield. Mr. and Mrs. Bishop are students in the Southwestern Theological Seminary at Fort Worth. The Stamford American Stamford, Texas May 21, 1937
