McDonald of Lubbock which was held in Abilene last Saturday. Mr. McDonald, manager of Radford Grocery Company of Lubbock since 1936 and manager of the Stamford Branch of the company for 30 years, prior to 1935, died in Lubbock. Service was held at the Presbyterian church in Lubbock, of which Mr. McDonald was an active member. Burial was in the Abilene cemetery. In his 37 years with the Radford Grocery Company, Mr. McDonald rose from clerkship to be manager of three of the company's important houses and to be a stockholder of the company. He started to work for the company in Abilene in 1901, and was sent to Stamford in 1902. He was married in 1910 to Miss Jessie Lee Morrow of Abilene, who survives him. During their residence here, Mr. McDonald was prominently identified with various church and civic enterprises. He was a charter member of the Stamford Rotary club. The family moved from Stamford to Amarillo in 1934 and to Lubbock in 1936. Besides his wife, Mr. McDonald is survived by daughter: Miss Mary Louise McDonald, student in Texas Tech. The late W.P.
