Walcott passed away Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Fuller, only a few hours after she had been brought home from the Sanitarium. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3:00 at the residence, with Rev. W.C. Moffett officiating the burial service. Interment was in Highland cemetery. Mrs. Walcott was born 68 years ago in Cincinatti, Ohio, where she spent many years of her life. Her parents were John W. and Susan T. Shays. She was a graduate of the Ohio Female Seminary, a prominent educational institution of the day. After her marriage, Mrs. Walcott continued to live in Cincinatti, but at her husbandŐs death, she made her home with her parents in Chicago. Here she continued to reside until her daughter, Helen Louis, now Mrs. Fuller, made a home for her. She came to Stamford with Mr. and Mrs. Fuller soon after their marriage and has made her home here since. Mrs. Walcott was a member of the Baptist church and had from her childhood, taught classes in the Sunday School. Her only son died at the age of five and she devoted her life to the religious instruction of boys in her church. She is survived by her daughter, her grandchildren: Marjorie, Virginia, and Fred Randall Fuller, and a brother and sister: Mr. John T. Shays who resides at 6833 Langley Avenue, Chicago.
