Walton, Sr., died at the home home at 302 West Davenport Saturday, 15 January 1938. Funeral officiated by Mr. Robinson, minister of the Church of Christ of Abilene. Burial in Highland cemetery. Mr. Walton was born in Robertson county, 28 August 1870. Survivors: 4 sons - Joe B. Walton, Herman and B.W. Walton, all of Stamford, Claude H. Walton of Tulsa, OK.
