KENEDY - Jose Perez Garcia, 67, of Kenedy, died Tuesday, April 1,

2003. 

He was born April 7, 1935, in Kenedy, to the late Jose Ramirez and

Florencia 

Perez Garcia. He was a retired truck driver for Gonzales Trucking

and a member 

of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.



Survivors: daughters, Mary Ann Villanueva and Velma Rodriguez, both

of Beeville; 

sons, Jerry Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Israel Garcia, Johnnie Garcia and

David Garcia, 

all of Kenedy and Michael Garcia of Corpus Christi; sisters, Mary

Villarreal of Kenedy 

and Margaret Beltran of Karnes City; 16 grandchildren; and one great-

grandchild.



Preceded in death by: wife, Frances Garcia; son, Alex Garcia;

parents; sister, Juanita 

Garza; and brothers, Cipriano Garcia and Jesus Garcia. 



A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at Eckols Funeral Home

chapel.



Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic

Church, the Rev. 

Joachim Pohl officiating. 



Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Eckols Funeral Home, Kenedy,
