HERNANDEZ KENEDY - Juanita "Janie" L. Hernandez, 48, of Kenedy, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003. She was born March 4, 1955, in Kenedy, to Angelita Rossett Lopez of Kenedy and the late Ponciano S. Lopez Jr. She was the former director of education at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. She was a teacher's aide at Kenedy Independent School District and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Guadalupanas. Survivors: husband, Jose Hernandez; sons, Martin Hernandez and Jose Hernandez III, both of Kenedy; sisters, Rose Marie Elizondo, Virginia Wheeler and Martha Poldreck, all of Kenedy; brothers, Charles R.
