Miller KENEDY - Adora Rosalie "Granny" Smith Miller, 80, of Kenedy, died Friday, April 2, 2004. She was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Goliad, to the late K.D. and Lessie Smith. She was a retired nurse in Karnes County. Survivors: daughters, Nona McElroy of Edinburg and Deborah Gill of Redwood City, Calif.; son, Larry Miller of Mission; sisters, Irene Forbes, Clara Johnson and Bernadine Urana; brother, Kadon Smith; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: former spouse, A.J. Miller; sisters, Josephine Lee, Ela Mae Simmons, Christine Simmons and Katherine Turner; and brother, John Dewey Smith. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for General Atomic Energy Co., formerly Chevron.
