Ethridge - KENEDY KENEDY - Clyde E. Ethridge, 77, of Kenedy, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005. He was born March 11, 1927, in Griffin, Ark., to the late William and Sarah Sharon Ethridge. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired operations supervisor for Warren Petroleum Co. and a member of New Life Baptist Church in Beeville. Survivors: wife, Joyce Ethridge; daughters, Deborah Murchinson of Metairie, La., Katherine Marie Letulle of Belle Chase, La., Melissa Ann Tarulis of Friendswood, Debra Vasquez of Kenedy, and Sandra Broadway of Bastrop; sons, Jody Ethridge of Kenedy, Neal Ethridge of Goliad, and Cecil Boening of New Braunfels; sister, Geraldine Bounds of Bethany, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He has received numerous soil conservation awards.
