H. Bartle, who came here several months ago for the benefit of his health, died at his camp on Y. P. Olivers place Tuesday night, Jan. 21st. Mr. Barton (sic) came here from Walker county, suffering from consumption and lived a camp life, thinking the open air would be beneficial to his lungs, but contracted a severe case of pneumonia about a week ago, to which he rapidly succummed (sic). Mr. Oliver and his family did all that they could to relieve the wants and suffering of the sick man and to care for the little son and daughter who survive hime. The remains were sent to his old home at Huntsville for interment, accompanied by the little boy and girl, who wil make their home with relatives at that place. Messrs. J. R. and Coleman Highsmith accompanied them to Kerrville. ===========================================================================
