W. Taylor Dies Following Long Illness Mrs. W. W. Taylor died at her home in Junction Tuesday afternoon, August 18, after a period of ill health, extending over several years. The Schriener-Hodges Company is in charge of funeral services which will be held at the family home this (Thursday) afternoon at three o'clock with Elder T. M. Carney, officiating. Interment will be made in the Junction Cemetery. Mrs. William Walter Taylor, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Davis, was born in Gonzales County, November 26, 1878. She moved to Kimble County in 1881 while a mere child and has lived here the rest of her life. She was married to W. W. Taylor on January 10, 1894, and to this union were born seven children, all of whom survive and are here for the funeral services. They are Mrs. Hal Green, Mrs. H. E. Wright, Mrs. Aubrey Hill, Mrs. W. B. McMillan, and Miss Kaleta Taylor, Mr. Doeboy Taylor and Mr. Carlos Taylor. In addition to the husband and seven children she is survived by three grandchildren, Betty and Jan Hill and Gayle Wright, one sister, Mrs. W. R. Taylor, Goliad, and one brother, W. B. Davis, Houston. Mrs. Taylor united with the Church of Christ in 1921 and has been a loyal member since that time. On account of ill health she has not been able to attend services in several years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. In her untimely homegoing, the family has lost a devoted wife and mother, who lived a quiet life with her family. =======================================================================================
