He was in San Marcos for the summer with his young wife and 20 months old son, where he was attending school. Funeral services were held at London Tuesday afternoon and the esteem in which he was held in his home community was evidenced by the large funeral gathering that attended the last rites. One of the largest funeral gatherings ever assembled in London paid final respects at the bier of this departed young man, which was silent acknowledgement of the high esteem in which he was held in the community.
