   Louis Stroup
   Louis  Stroup  passed  away  on March 7, 2000 in Winters. Born in Knox
   County, Texas on June 19, 1915, she was 84 years old.
   Mrs.  Stroup lived in Richmond for 50 years, during which time she was
   a  homemaker.  She lived in Winters for the last four years. She was a
   member  of  the  Church  of  Christ in Richmond, the Winters Church of
   Christ  and  the  Winters  Senior  Citizens Club. Her hobbies included
   sewing, cooking and going to Lake Berryessa with friends.
   She is survived by her daughter, Carlene Elmore of Oregon; son, Melvin
   D.   Stroup  of  Winters;  sister,  Jeanie  Porter  of  Florida;  five
   grandchildren and seven great-grandchildn.
   She  was  preceded  in  death by her husband, Melvin P. Stroup and her
   son, Travis "Dean" Stroup.
   Funeral services were held for Mrs. Stroup on Friday, March 10, at the
   Civic Center Chapel of Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries in Richmond. Burial
   took place at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond.
   Memorial  gifts  may  be  made  in  Mrs. Stroup's name to the American
   Cancer  Society,  2023 Vale Rd., #4, San Pablo, CA or Yolo Hospice, P.
   O. Box 1014, Davis, CA, 95617.
