TX: Deed Book 1E, p 239, State of Texas, Lamar County Know all men by these that I Mary Monk of the same County for in consideration of the sum of Ninety Five dollars to me paid by John Monk of Said county have this day granted bargained, sold, released and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell release and convey unto the said John W Monk, my heirs and all my right title interest and claims in and to the following Land Certificates to wit. and issued by the Board of Land Commissioners for Lamar County to the said John W Monk for three hundred and twenty acres not yet surveyed, also the certificate of Silas Monk for Six hundred and fifty acres, which was by Silas Monk Transferred to the said John W Monk to him and to hold the same to his own use and benefit hereby relinquish all my right title interest and claim unto the said John W Monk his heirs or his assignees forever also all my right title interest and claims to all the Stock of horses, cattle and hogs that the said John W Monk now has, also all of the Kitchen and household furnature, hereby relinquishing all of the above described property to the said John W Monk, I further give and relinquish unto the said John W Monk my husband my little son Willis Monk about 2 years of age and consent that he shall have the care, raising and education and the full control of my little son Willis.
