Epitaph: We love you Daddy, Jerry - Bob Other: TEC 5 US ARMY Paris News, Friday, August 1, 1986, Pg 4A- Robert Lucien May- Robert Lucien May, 120 Greenwood Heights, Greenwood, LA, died at Doctor's Hospital at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, July 31. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 4, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. G. Renfro of Deport officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. May was born November 12, 1913 in Blossom, a son of Ace May and Minnie Reece May. He attended Blossom schools and was a 1932 graduate of Blossom High School. He worked for the T & P Railroad for 35 years, retiring in 1973. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenwood and of the Maintenance Department of the Brotherhood of Railroads. On August 30, 1932, he married Jean Foote. Surviving are his wife; one son, Jerry W. May of Gaithersburg, MD; three grandchildren, Scott R. May of Sacremento, CA, Brian May and Kevin May, both of Gaithersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Jess Reasoner of Blossom, Irene Hale of Mena, AR., and Ruby McCormick of Dublin; one brother, Jack R. May of Texas City. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby R. May, on February 26, 1985. ---
