Rose, 84, Dies Here Monday- Andy J. Rose, 84, retired farmer and stockman, died Monday at 7:20a.m. at home, 1952 W. Shiloh St. He had been ill a long time. Funeral service, Tuesday at 3p.m., will be held at Mount Tabor Methodist Church at Caviness. The Rev. Glenn Smith, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church here, will officiate. Brown-Roden Funeral Home will make burial in Mount Tabor Cemetery and grandsons will be pall bearers. Mr. Rose was Born in Springfield, Mo., Sept. 14, 1865, son of late Rev. V.L. and Irene Hudgens Rose. He had lived in Lamar County a number of years and owned considerable land in the Camp Maxey area. Surviving are his wife, formerly Miss Kitty Lou Cunningham, and these children: Mrs. Charles Smith, Chicota; Mrs. Wilma O'Roarke, Chicago; Mrs. R.H. Cox, Ceres, Calif.; Mrs. Morton Burch, Mrs. P.E. Thompson, Mrs. Elmer Vincent, Mrs. H.O. Babb, Mrs. Henry Walker and A.J. Rose, Jr., all of Paris; 54 grandchildren, 39 great-children and three great-great-grandchildren
