The cemetery is located on private property. To get there, go east on HWY 190 to CR 7, then turn north on CR 7 and go 1.2 miles to a low water crossing (Sparks Crossing). The first gate on the right side of the road after the low water crossing is the main entrance to the property. Then, go towards house, but turn left before you get to the house. The cemetery is east of the main field. Most of the information about the Sparks Cemetery was supplied by Maude Noyes Johnson (Mrs. Elton D. Johnson) Her survey was compiled May 1, 1971. "The information not obtained from the grave marker is that which I remember from conversation with my father, E.J. Noyes: my aunt, Mrs. Maud Miller: and our early neighbors, Mrs. Delia Denson Frasier and Mrs. Elizabeth McVey Taylor (Mrs. Dan Taylor, Sr.) I have also included some information from the deed records of the farm. My father bought the farm in November of 1909, and we moved there in the summer of 1910." The oldest marked grave in the cemetery is the infant daughter of S.T. Denson who died in March 1860. The cemetery is not fenced. The cemetery is not maintained and is in rough condition. This cemetery was re-surveyed by Tommy Harkey and Jeff Jackson on February 4, 1994.
