L. Rasbury, by his own hand in Talladegaw, Alabama, having shot and killed his employer, N. Simmons. He was a brother of the late Atlanta Detective who was killed in 1872. The family is an old one in Atlanta. R. L. Rasbury had been living in Talladega some time and was a bartender. (Reubin Lovick Rasbury was the son of John C. Rasbury and his wife, Delaney Brooks of Paulding Co., Georgia, who are buried in Lampasas City Cemetery, Lampasas Co., Texas. He married Nannon L. Brannon, February 12, 1867 in Bullock Co., Alabama. They accompanied the John C. Rasbury family to Lampasas Co., Texas, but returned to Talladega. Reubin was a brother to my Macajah B. Rasbury of Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas. Bonnie Reach, Alba, Texas
