The Lampasas Leader
Friday, February 22, 1901

Jack Wise, one of the worthy laboring men of Lampasas, died Monday morning of
pneumonia. He worked for a long time with W.C. Price and Co. His family is
left in a destitute condition.

Additional Comments:
John "Jack" Wise married Helen Marion Sweet in Burnet County, Texas on 5 June
1884. Their children were: Sarah "Sadie" Katherine (Dabbs); Elva Ernest
(Gaddy); William Hayden; Carrie E.; John Frederick Jr.; Joseph Doliver
"Dolph".
