I do not know what paper that this was printed in. I did however find the Woodward Cemetery survey located on the LaSalle County TXGenWeb Project. My interest is in the Winters family. Thomas and Sallie Talk are the parents of Mollie Charlotte Talk that married Jasper Newton Winters. MRS. TOM TALK DIES SUNDAY MORNING Mrs. Tom Talk, 59, died at her home here Sunday morning, June 5, at 2:55 o'clock. Deceased was born in Goliad April 10, 1873, her maiden name being Sallie O'Neal. She was married to Tom Talk at Riswell, N. M., in 1889, who died here seven years ago. They moved from New Mexico to Karnes county where they lived 14 years, then moved to La Salle county. Deceased is survived by seven daughters and five sons: Mrs. J. N. Winters, Moore; Mrs. S. B. Belk, Waco; Mrs. T. O. Partridge, Dallas; Mrs. G. R. Cox, San Antonio; Mrs. T. F. Schmidt, San Antonio; Mrs. Carrel Romain, Ft. Logan, Col.; Mrs. A. E. Wallace, Gardendale; T. D. and Lang Talk, San Antonio; Gardner Talk, Montana; Milam Talk, Poteet. One son, John, was a victim of the World War. 23 grandchildren also survive. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Leonard King, pastor of the Baptist church, and Rev. J. C. Young, pastor of the Methodist church. The remains were taken to the Woodward cemetery, where the final service was held by Rev. Harry Hamilton, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial was by the side of her husband and son.
