MOORE CEMETERY, HALLETTSVILLE, LAVACA CO., TEXAS

The MOORE Cemetery is an old, private family cemetery 
located on South Main Street eight-tenths of a mile 
south from Hwy 90A on the east side of the road
just past Moore Street.

It was used from the late 1800šs through 1920 and 
was originally located next to the Moore Homestead.  
To the best of my knowledge, my great-grandmother,
Nancy Cardelia Moore, was the last one to be 
buried there. There may be others here but these are all 
of the tombstones that remain.
