This is the headstone for Randolph "Coon" & Nora Emily (nee Guthrie) Mathis 
located in Lexington Cemetery, Lee County, TX.  The oddity is, though their 
headstone is there, they are not physically buried in Lexington Cemetery.  
They are actually physically buried in the Guthrie Cemetery, located abt 3-4 
miles outside of Lexington in Lee County on private property.  

Their daughter, Emily Elizabeth ("Emmie") MATHIS Seibert, felt that 
descendants would be more likely to visit and pay their respects if they were 
located in the more convenient Lexington Cemetery, so she bought a headstone 
and had it located there. 

Transcription of the marker says:
