Picture of Martha Priscilla (Mattie) Rodgers', nee Clemons, headstone located 
in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Lee County, TX.  The wording on it says:

MOTHER
Mattie P. Rodgers
Apr. 27, 1853
Feb. 5, 1948
At Rest

Mattie is the mother of Carrie Bell Mathis, nee Phears/Clemons.  Her other 
children included Pauline "Polly" Phears/Clemons, who married J.T. Hooper, and 
a son, Ira Phears/Clemons.  Ira was named after Mattie's father, Ira Clemons, 
but died at only about two years old (abt 1877 to abt 1879).
