ACADEMY HILL CEMETERY

(This is a Black Cemetery)

Take Mayes Street from FM 542 and go to Post Street.   Turn left on Post
Street and go to Academy Hill Road.   Turn right on Academy Hill Road and
go about a mile - pass the Durant’s house on the right - and turn left at
the next dirt road.   You can see a few markers on the left surrounded by
big yaupons.

are hidden in the underbrush.
