South on FM 832 to CR 223. West & South on CR 223 a total of 4 miles. KEILS, Albert D. b. Alabama Son of Isaac & Niecy Keils Was murdered 1821 July 28, 1870 KEILS, John b. Mississippi Son of Albert D. & Mahala Keils 1856 ca 1910 KEILS, Mahala b. S.C. Dau of Jacob & Mary Govan Utsey 1823 1905 KEILS, William “Shug” b. Alabama Son of Albert D. & Mahala U. Keils Was murdered before 1880 It is thought more are buried here. There is on large stone placed here. All of A.D. and M.A. Keils’ children are listed on it. 1856 is listed as the year they came to Keechi. On the back of the stone, the names of the M.A. Keils Sr. family is listed and grandchildren are also listed. Keils Cemetery is located on land in the Leander Burns Survey on the land settled by A.D. & M.A. Keils in 1856.
