Afternoon Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon, at 4 p.m. for Mrs. Connie BUNCH, who died vry suddenly Monday afternoon, October 11th in a Coriscana hospital. Rev. R. E. Briggs assisted by the rev. Robert James, conducted the services at the Methodist Church, with internment following in the Armour Cemetery under the direction of the McElroy Funeral Home. Mrs. Bunch had been in ill health for many months past, but it was thought that she was greatly improved the past few weeks. In fact, she felt well enough to go for a visit in the home of Mr. Bunch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George BUNCH, Saturday afternoon and it was at their home when she became seriously ill Saturday night. Physicians were summoned and every possible thing was done to relieve her suffering, but they were unsuccessful and she was then carried to a Coriscana hospital Sunday afternoon where her conditions gradually grew worse until death ended her suffering on Monday. Lorena VINSON was born July 16, 1914, in Coolidge and had spent the major portion of her life in and around this city. On September 24, 1932, she was united in marriage to C. L. BUNCH, and to this union one daughter, Linda Jean, was born, who with the husband and father survive. Other immediate relatives include four brothers, Marcus VINSON and Aubrey VINSON, Coolidge; Arthur VINSON, Waco; Archie VINSON, Corsicana, and four sisters, Mrs. M. E. KAY and Mrs. E. C. KAY, Coolidge; Mrs. T. J. HARRIS, Fort Worth; and Mrs. B. R. DAVIS of Coriscana. Pallbearers were: R. L. BUNCH, Tom DICKINSON, Herman DOWDLE, H.S. BROOKS, W. M. BLOUNT and Archie PATTERSON.
