Limestone Co. TX - OBIT: Mrs. Alma Cookerly Submitted by Anna Penny alp@vvm.com Mrs. Alma Cookerly, 1897 A SAD DEATH Mrs. Alma Cookerly, wife of Mr. C.S. Cookerly, died Sunday night after an illness of only a few days'duration, the disease being styled by the attending physician "pernicious remittent fever". She leaves five children, one being a baby only a few months old. As a mark of esteem in which the deceased lady and family are held it may be stated that the funeral procession was one of the largest ever seen in Groesbeck. The burial was in Faulkenberry Cemetery.
