The Raleigh Standard, Jan. 26, 1859
DIED, in Victoria, Limestone, Texas, on the 12th Dec. 1858 of fever after a
lingering illness of about three weeks, DUNCAN C. COBLE, aged about 23 years.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Protestant Church, Randolph
Circuit, N. C. District, and had only been in Texas about twelve months. In
the bloom of manhood, he left his numerous friends and acquaintances.
