Lummus Rites held at St. Mary's T.B. Lummus Rites Held at St. Mary's Funeral services for Thomas Bailey Lummus,69, of 1617 Fifth Street, were held today at St. Mary's Catholic church, Port Arthur Texas. Mr. Lummus died Saturday, July 24, 1965, at 12:50 pm in St Mary's Hospital. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Grammier-Oberlie Funeral home. Pallbearers were Nelson Stutes, Rene Viator, Edwin Bourgeois, W.M. Stanley, W.L. Rogers and Sidney Vicknair. Lummus was a native of Oletha, Texas born September 20, 1896 to parents, John William Lummus and Iva Allman Lummus. He leaves his wife Ella Moore, three daughters, Elaine Mitchell, Gloria Allen and Gladys Odle. Lummus was retired fom Gulf Oil Co. and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
