                          Alverta Martin-Obituary
                                      
   Our All-wise Heavenly Father saw fit in His great wisdom to send his
   Death Angel into the home of Brother and Sister R. M. Martin, of
   Oletha, Texas on the 21st day of April 1921 and carry the sweet spirit
   of their only daughter, Alverta to her Home prepared on high.
   
   Alverta was born December 24, 1904, age 16 years, 3 months, 27 days.
   Not enough can be said of the lovable and admirable character of
   Alverta for she always had a smile and word of cheer for every one,
   and to know her was to love her. Although she had not united with the
   church, she had trusted her Master and had expressed herself several
   times that death was no dread to her and that she was going home to be
   with Jesus.
   
   We extend to that bereaved mother, father and brothers our heartfelt
   sympathy and may the God of all grace and comfort abide with them
   until that grand and glorious day when all the cares of life are over,
   and they shall be reunited with Alverta, never to part again. A FRIEND
   (Alverta Martin is buried in the McKenzie Cemetery.)
