Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Monday afternoon, January 29th, at 3:30, for Mary Douglass VINSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Vinson, former residents of the city. Services were conducted by Reverend Ernest Roper of McGregor, assisted by Rev. R. E. Briggs and Rev. R. C. Malone of this this city. Mary Douglas was born January 22, 1931 and died January 28, 1945, at the age of fourteen years and six days. She had been ill for several months. Survivors are her parents, one brother, Billie Tom and one sister, Dorris Evelyn, and many other relatives. Internment was in the City Cemetery with McElroy Funeral Home in charge.
