Texas. He was an Elder in the Regular Predestinarian Baptist Faith. He had preached activitely for some 47 years. He was considered one of the best Primitive Baptist Preachers in the South. Due to his failing health he could not fill the pulpit for services inthe last years of his life. Some of the churches he pastored were: Shilo,Bushy Creek,Tomball,Elkhart( after Ben Parkers death) and County Line.
