When Sarah Ann Tow Davis died, Caleb married Sarah Judith Ann Davenport O'Bannon,
widow of Llano Co. Deputy Sheriff, James B. O'Bannon, who was slain in the line of duty
in the early 1880's by one of his own prisoners.

CARL was the only child of Caleb by his second wife.
