Garrett, who died along with infant male son in 1879. Third set are from his third wife, Mary Elzira Davis, the niece of his first wife. Isaac Byler (Ike) Maxwell was born 4-21-1837 Lauderdale Co. TN and died 12-15-1931 Llano Co. TX. He is buried in the New Bluffton Cemetery along side wives #2 and #3. Wife #1 is buried in the Tow Cemetery. CLARIFICATIONS: J. L. stands for James Lafayette (Jim) Maxwell m. Nancy Elizabeth Beeman; Nancy was called Ellie m. James F. Gaines; William Isaac was called DOUG, pronounced "Doog" m. Rozetta Chadwick M. M. is Margaret M. (Mag) m. John Sidney Robinson; N. H. is Nathan H. and died young;Mary E. m. W. H. (Will) Montgomery; J. B. is John B. Maxwell m. Minnie Hughes; Dock is not a nickname, and he m. Ruby Chadwick. NONE of the children by wife #3 had middle names. Mark m. Lillie Beal; Bertha died very young; Clyde m. Clara Holland; Solomon (Sol) m. Marcie Ligon; Earnest (Ern) never married; McGary (Gary) died as a single young man. ---
