William Weeks married Mary Ann Hines in Burnet County 23 December 1858 and James Hines was married to Sarah, probably a widow, as there were 3 Schmidt children in the family. With Sarah Hines was her youngest daughter, Syrilda. Sarah Hines was the daughter of William and Hannah Miner Noble. She was born 29 October 1811 in Franklin County, Kentucky and moved with her parents to Parke County, Indiana about 1829. She married Jacob Hines about 1832 in Parke County (the court house burned about that time and all records were destroyed), and their first 4 children: Mary Ann, 27 December 1833; Thomas, 27 June 1836; Elizabeth, 27 November 1839 and William Henry, born about 1841, were all born in Indiana. By 1850 they were living in Ozark County, Missouri with 5 more children: James, 23 September 1842; Sarah, about 1844; Clark, about 1845; Patsy Matilda, June 1847, and Syrilda Jane (not listed, born 21 June 1850), all born in Missouri. I have been able to find only Mary Ann and William Weeks in the 1860 census, but in 1870 the daughter Elizabeth was married to James Byfield and living in Goliad County. In 1880 the Byfields were in Llano County, along with William and Mary Ann Weeks, Isaac and Matilda Weeks and Henry and Syrilda Allsup and their families. Sarah Hines was living with the Allsups. She died 14 January 1890 and is buried in the Old Montgomery Ranch cemetery, with her son James L. Hines, who died 6 November 1885 and her granddaughter Carrie Elizabeth Allsup, 19 December 1892-24 January 1893. Mary Ann Hines Weeks (Weeaks) and her husband are buried in Kingsland cemetery. She died 11 May 1891. Their children were: George W. Weeks, Mary Cansada Weeks, Calvin Weeks and Columbus C. Weeks. Descendants may still be in the area. Elizabeth Hines Byfield settled later in Nogal, Lincoln County, New Mexico, where she died 10 March 1910, she is buried in the Nogal cemetery. Thomas Hines died 12 February 189_. (I have a picture of him on the back of which his birth and death dates are written in pencil. The last number of his death date is rubbed out, about where it would be held by a hand.) William Henry is said to have died or disappeared during the Civil War. Neither he nor Thomas married. I have no further record of Clark. The daughter Sarah is said to have married "a man named Morgan". Martha Matilda (Aunt Tildy) is buried in the Stella cemetery in Cleveland County, near Oklahoma City. Her husband, Isaac F. Weeks, is buried in the Spring Creek cemetery in Beckham County, Oklahoma. Syrilda Hines Allsup died 25 June 1937 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas. She was living with her youngest daughter, Lilly Pearl Allsup Haines. A brother of Sarah Hines, Thomas Henry Noble, came early to Burnet County. My guess is that Sarah moved to Llano County to be near her relatives about the time of the death of her husband. This biography was also written by me for the History of Llano County, I have made a few changes and additons.
