The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************* The State of Texas ) County of Llano ) Know all men by these presents that I, Roley Gentry, of the County and State aforesaid, have this day, made, ordained, constituted and appointed Wiliam Haynie of the said County and State, my true and lawful attorney, for me and in my name and for my use and benefit to ask, demand and receive of and from the proper authority, any and all monies, which are or may be due me for my service as a Ranger, in the Llano company of Minute Men, commanded by Lieutenant Gideon P. Cowan, which company was, by the Chief Justice, mustered into the Serice of the State by order of the Governor, on the 27th day of March 1860-- And my said attorney is fully authorized to receipt for all such monies received, and to do and perform any and all other acts in the premises, which I might or should legally do myself-- In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand this 1st day of December 1860.
