Mr.Amos Coursey,
Llano,Texas


Dear Amos,

I had a letter from my father dated April 27th,1940
in which he stated that you wanted to rent the place at 
Honey Creek and that you were willing to buy Ricketson
goats and run them on the halves and the hogs the same way,
and you would look after my cattle for me free of charge.
If you and Ricketson can make a satisfactory deal on his
goats and hogs your proposition will suit me alright.
  
You can tell my dad if you and Ricketson make a deal 
and he will let me know,however I think it would be better 
if it is understood that you can have it just as long as both 
of us are satisfied with the way thing are going.
