MRS, ORA BALL RITES SET ON TUESDAY
15 August 1886-16 June 1967

  Mrs. Martha Ora Allsup Hill Ball, age 81, of Sayre, OK, died suddenly Friday, 
June 16, 1967 at the Sayre Hospital.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 
2:30 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist church, with Rev. Lynn Heard and Rev. John R. 
Kelly officiating.
  Mrs. Ball was born August 15, 1886 in Llano County, Texas.  She was the daughter 
of Henry P. and Syrilda Jane Hines Allsup.  She was married in 1908 to James Addison 
Hill in Willow, OK.  He preceded her in death in 1932.  In 1935 she married M. L. 
Ball at Mangum, OK.  He preceded her in death in 1953.  She was a member of the 
Immanuel Baptist church and had been a member of the Baptist church for 64 years.  
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. G. O. Bass of Dallas, TX; and Marie Hill of Sayre, 
with whom she made her home; four sons, Raymond Hill of Hayden, AZ; Floyd Hill of 
Napa, CA; James W. Hill of La Mesa, CA; and Judson B. Hill of the U.S. Navy; one 
sister, Mrs. R.R. Haines of Dallas, TX; 7 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.
  Pallbearers will be George Bell, Bill Dowdell, Richard Carmichael, Leo Breeze, 
Keith Dowdell and All Dorman.  Interment will be in the Spring Creek cemetery, with 
the Rose Chapel funeral service in charge.
