Behrns Leonard "Bert" Crabtree, 78, died Friday, April 30, 1999, in Llano.



Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral 

Home Chapel with burial in Llano City Cemetery.



He was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Farris, Okla., and had lived in Llano since 1957. 

He was a grocery-store owner and operator and a member of the Hill Country 

Livestock Raisers Association, Southwest Cattle Raisers Association, Texas 

Farm Bureau and the Church of Christ.



Survivors include his wife, Bernice Crabtree of Llano; a daughter, Marlene 

Lee Crabtree of Dallas; three sons, Marvin Crabtree of Junction, Vernon 

Crabtree of Austin and Bert E. Crabtree Jr. of Big Spring; a sister, 

Juanita Barton of Sherman; a brother, Hiram Crabtree of Holbrook, Ariz.; 

and two grandchildren.
