Scripps newspaper. Zelma Hallihurton LLANO - Mrs. V.V. (Zelma) Halliburton, 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1992, in a local hospital. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Waldrope-Hatfield Funeral Home chapel with burial in Cherokee Cemetery. She was born Feb. 4, 1903, in San Saba. She was a member of the Church of Christ. survivors include two sons, Ottis Halliburton of Llano and Shirley L. Halliburton of Cedar Park; two daughters, Alline Elliott of Llano and Cleva Dell Pearson of Valley Spring; 15 grandchildren; 39 greatgrandchildren; and 29 great-greatgrandchildren. Additional Comments: I am not related, I lived in Sonora, Sutton County, 65 miles south of San Angelo. From 1990 to 2000, I meticulously collected the entire obituary page (s) from the SAST and saved them by month carefully folded in separate 10x13 envelopes-then in file boxes by year.
