Funeral for Robert Hoppe 71 of Bang, Texas will be held Fri. at 10:00 am 

in First Baptist Church at Bangs the Rev. James Gibson officating. Burial 

will be in Bangs Cemeterty under direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home.

Mr. Hoppe died Wed at 1:30 pm at verterns hospital in Temple Texas.

Born Jan 1,1896 in Llano County . The son of Henry Hoppe & Emily Mueller.

He was a retired farmer and a veteran of WWI. Mr Hoppe was a member of 

First Baptist Church and had lived near Bangs since 1919, He had moved to 

Bangs from Mason and married Ethel Lorene Reeese Oct 19,1919.

Surviving are his wife, two sons; Milton of Tyler and Merlin of Miami Fla, 

two daughters Mrs Adelene Dietz of Sonora, Tex and Mrs Kenneth Wadsworth of 

Bangs, a brother Will of Austin. 10 grandchildren
