Sister Masters had been a sufferer for quite awhile but death came as a deliverer from earthly pain and care. She was born June 9, 1878 and was converted and joined the Methodist Church when but a child and remained faithful and true to the Lord whom she loved. Sister Masters was a true and faithful wife, tender and affectionate mother. Her body was laid to rest in the Honey Creek cemetery about 12 o'clock Tuesday to await the resurrection dawn. The burial services was attended by a large gathering of relatives and friends. "It's not all of death to die nor all of life to live." So there is a great reward awaiting her in the "By and By' for "she is not dead, but sleepeth' and her reward is not an earthly habitation, but a heavenly crown of rejoicing. She was ready and willing to go, praying God to take her home where she would be free from pain. "For in the hour of death, the righteous have hope." She left a husband and five children to mourn her loss, but her wishes were, "Weep not for me, all is well." May Gods blessing rest upon these left behind.
