Funeral services took place at Waldrope-Hatfield Chapel in Llano on March 8, 1987, 

for Ivera Rogers, 76, of Llano. The Rev. Don Jones officiated. Burial followed at 

Flat Rock Cemetery.



Mrs. Rogers, the widow of Herman Rogers and a member of the Methodist church, 

died March 6. She was born to Will Williams and the former Vessie Fry on 

April 11, 1910, in Llano County.



Among survivors are three sons, Roger Rogers of Brady, Mike Rogers of Austin 

and Scott Rogers of Lampasas; three daughters, Mrs. Arburthnot of Bonham, Tex., 

and Mrs. Karen Sue Powell and Mrs. Cynthia Decker, both of Llano; two brothers, 

Roy Williams of Llano, George Williams of Burnet, 31 grandchildren and 18 great 

grandchildren. Her grandsons acted as pallbearers.
