Services were held at 3pm on Wednesday at Buttery Funeral Home with Homer Rogers, minister of the Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating. Burial was in the Llano City Cemetery. The oldest living man in Llano was a former Indian Scott and three times drove cattle up the Old Chisolm Trail. He was born January 15, 1856 on a ranch near the community of Wimberley, which was named for his father. Son of Mr. & Mrs. Pleasant Wimberley who founded the community of Wimberley when they moved there from North Carolina. Issac moved to Llano 54 years ago. Mr Wimberly had 192 living descendants including great grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Mae Owen and Mrs. Hattie Stoval of Llano and Mrs. Bettie Hardwick of Austin. Six son V.T. Wimberley of Llano, George P. Wimberley of Uvalde and A.J. Wimberley. Joe, John and Frank all of California and a sister Mrs. Lyda Wimberley Hughes of Wimberley.
