Services are pending at Henderson Funeral Home. Hunter, born August 24, 1899, had lived in Lubbock for 21 years. He was a retired grocer and a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow Cecil; a son, Bobby Hunter of 3005 36th St.; a daughter, Mrs. Connie Neel of 4203 53rd St.; one brother, B. K. Hunter of Nemaha, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Shipley of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Mrs. Clare Liming of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Zoe Mills of Walsh, Colo.; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
