Logscon, 80, died in Lakeside Nursing Home in Lubbock early Wednesday. Mrs. Logsdon had been a resident of Hockley County 40 years. She was born in Denton. She moved from Mangum, Okla., in 1931 to Levelland where she resided until moving to Lubbock. Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Murray, pastor of Parkview Assembly of God in Levelland, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Morris Sheets of Lubbock's Trinity Church. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Mrs. Logsdon is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Allen of Levelland and Mrs. Cathryn Farmer of Lubbock; a son C. R. Logsdon of Odessa; a step brother Ray Spinks of Grapevine; two half brothers, Homer Huggins of Brownwood and Fred Huggins of Dallas; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
